Kenny Jackett will field a second-string side similar to the one that beat Cork City 2-1 during last week's trip to Ireland.

Ten of the head coach's first-choice side got 90 minutes during the goalless draw at Port Vale on Saturday.

The likes of striker Aaron Collins, defender Regan Upton and midfielders Christian Herc and Connor Hunte have been added to tonight's squad.

Senior players Andy Lonergan, Nathan Byrne and Conor Coady will feature, while young strikers Niall Ennis and Bright Enobakhare will look to add to the goals they scored against Cork.

Northampton were runaway League Two champions last season and are now managed by former Wales defender Rob Page, who took over from the Sheffield United-bound Chris Wilder.

It is not known if Fosun's Jeff Shi will attend, as he did at Port Vale.

Meanwhile, 1,700 tickets have been snapped up for the opening-day trip to face Rotherham United on August 6.

Wolves have an allocation of 2,600 seats for the New York Stadium clash against new boss Alan Stubbs' Millers.

Around 200 are due to attend tonight. Tickets will be available on the gate.

Wolves squad for Northampton: Lonergan, Flatt; Odoffin, Hayden, Johnson, O'Hanlon, Leak, Upton; Byrne, Herc, Coady, Ronan, Hunte; Collins, Enobakhare, Ennis, Wilson.
