'No bids' for Wolves pair Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause
Wolves have received no bids for star defenders Dominic Iorfa or Kortney Hause, boss Kenny Jackett has stated.
Crystal Palace have been linked with moves for both players, while West Ham and Southampton have kept tabs on Iorfa and Arsenal and Everton have scouted Hause.
Jackett – who cited their pair's recent involvement in England Under-21s' triumphant Toulon tournament campaign as proof they are growing in stature – is keen to keep both at Molineux.
He told the Express & Star: "We haven't had any bids – for either player.
"We want to work hard to improve our team if we can."
Iorfa and Hause will return to training next week after being given extra time off for their international exertions.
Jackett watched their progress in France closely.
And he said both players had done Wolves proud.
"They seem to be trusted by Gareth Southgate, they were in his first team," Jackett said.
"They did themselves and did the club proud.
"I watched the final on television and most of the group games as well and both of them acquitted themselves very well.
"Gareth has been very pleased and very impressed with both of them.
"They're both growing in stature and it's been a very positive two years for them.
"They've had good experience in a tough league in the Championship, they've established themselves now.
"If you're looking at Dominic this time last year, he struggled slightly in the same tournament.
"This year it was very difficult for anyone to run him, at that standard, so you can see the progress.
"That's the experience and the confidence that playing regularly gives you.
"You can see they both have a confidence about them that has certainly come from their work, their involvement and their opportunities in the last two years."
Jackett is now looking to shape his squad as quickly as possible for the start of the 2016/17 campaign, which kicks off at Rotherham on August 6.
He spoke of the importance of hitting the ground running.
"The first two months are so important," Jackett said.
"There's a potential of seven games in August should we beat Crawley in the League Cup.
"The run-up to both internationals in September and then October is so vital – the first two months of the season shapes so much of what you do as a football club.
"In the next six weeks we want to be as strong as we possibly can for that period so that we all come out of August and September optimistic."
- Wolves' home fixture against Brighton has been brought forward 24 hours and will take place on Good Friday, April 14, with a 3pm kick-off.
