Kenny Jackett's men will head to the New York Stadium when the new campaign gets underway on Saturday August 6.

It is followed by back-to-back home games against Reading on August 13 and Ipswich the following Tuesday, August 16, before an early season derby at Birmingham City on August 20.

Other notable fixtures in the opening weeks see Wolves host Burton Albion on September 10 and then travel to Newcastle United a week later, on Saturday September 17.

They then go to Villa on October 15, for the first-ever league meeting of the Midland rivals outside the top flight. The return fixture, at Molineux, takes place on Saturday January 14.

Having travelled to Charlton and Brighton during the festive period last season, Wolves have been given a much better hand for the coming Christmas.

A Boxing Day home game with Bristol City is followed by the visit of QPR on New Year's Eve, before a trip to Sheffield Wednesday two days later on January 2.

Wolves host Newcastle at Molineux on February 11, while Jackett's men will close the season with a home fixture against Preston on Sunday May 7.
