Wolves' 2016/17 home kit has been unveiled - with a retro 1980s pinstripe design.

The kit is the first to include Wolves' controversial new Money Shop sponsor, and features a yellow bar underneath the company's name.

Pinstripes were a regular feature on Wolves kits in the 1980s when they were sponsored by Tatung.

The kit was unveiled on social media today via the club's "pass the parcel" initiative.

It includes pinstripes down the front of the kit, and on the socks, with black trim on the shoulders.

Initial reaction on Twitter was generally favourable.

Fans got a sneak peak of the kits - including a light green away kit, which has yet to be officially unveiled - when defender Kortney Hause posted a picture on Snapchat.

He was disciplined by the club for the indiscretion.

Wolves have in recent years unveiled the kit at their end of season awards but broke with tradition this year to launch a social media campaign, with fans taking it in turns to 'unwrap' an parcel before the kit was revealed.

The away kit is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Wolves' 2016/17 Championship campaign kicks off on August 6, with fixtures announced next month on June 22.
