Jack Price: There's more to come from me
Jack Price has been Wolves' man of the match for two games in a row.
But the midfielder hopes there's plenty more to come from him yet – including goals.
The popular 23-year-old has earned praise from Kenny Jackett for his performances after starting three matches in succession.
And he feels he's only going to get better as he continues his progression in the Wolves first team.
Price said: "It is nice to have picked up some man of the match awards from the sponsors and the fans and it shows I am doing something right for them.
"I still feel there is a lot more to come from me.
"Scoring goals is something I need to add to my game, as well as creating more as well.
"I know I have got more to my game than just helping the defence and keeping things ticking over and I know I have to build on that.
"I will keep working hard in training and hopefully can add those things to my game and become a better player.
"I had a good spell going into Christmas when I felt I was doing well and my fitness levels were good and I felt confident.
"Then I got ill and lost my place and maybe it has taken some time to get back to that level which hopefully I am there now and I can stay in there for the rest of the season."
The defensive midfielder has still only scored once in a Wolves shirt since being handed his debut by Jackett at the start of Wolves' League One campaign.
He couldn't have come much closer to doubling his tally against Burnley at Turf Moor a couple of weeks ago, smacking the post from all of 30 yards.
Price takes up the story: "I thought it was in to be honest!
"The ball was set back to me and I was only when I looked back after that I realised how far out it was.
"At the time I thought it was closer in but I did think I'd hit it well and was wheeling away to celebrate with the fans.
"I'd seen 'Morts' our kitman in the crowd and I was heading for him!
"Sadly it wasn't to be and hopefully it isn't that far away.
"And if I do ever score, and it's in front of the South Bank, I will be in there!"
After the positive draw at Burnley, Saturday's dull stalemate versus Ipswich left the home fans feeling deflated.
As Price conceded, the international break came at a bad time for Wolves.
But he says there's plenty to play for in the last seven games.
"It is about ending the season on a high and building for the start of next season and giving it a better go," Price added.
"We have got confidence in the group and we know we can get to the level like we did mixing it with Burnley a couple of weeks ago.
"We haven't got to that level consistently enough this season and that is what we need to improve on.
"I definitely think we have got it in the group to do that."
