Kenny Jackett: More of the same for Wolves

Boss Kenny Jackett has urged his team to pick up where they left off at Burnley when they welcome Ipswich to Molineux.

Wolves produced one of their best performances of the season at Turf Moor before the international break, claiming a 1-1 draw with Danny Batth's late equaliser.

And Jackett wants more of the same tomorrow as Wolves look to build on a good recent home record of seven points from three games.

He said: "The home record has been good. We don't want any hangover from the two weeks. We want to pick up where we left off and not take two or three games to pick up the performance level.

"And then we can attack this last run of games in a positive manner."

Mick McCarthy comes back to Molineux for the third time since leaving the club – and has claimed a win and a draw from his two returns thus far.

Ipswich are four points off the Championship play-offs and Jackett knows the Tractor Boys, like Wolves, will be desperate for victory.

But he doesn't believe McCarthy's return will have a bearing on the game, saying: "I know Mick reasonably well.

"He's got a fantastic track record at many clubs, and at Wolves as well. He's well remembered for a very successful period of the club's history.

"It doesn't really have a bearing. Most weeks you can look at some link, whether it be players or managers.

"Everyone, for their own reasons, will be desperate to win this week. Like every Championship side we'll give them every respect.

"We had an interesting game at Portman Road. They'll give you a good game, you can't look at the league table and say there's necessarily an easy game in the Championship."
