Wolves embark on their final eight fixtures with Jackett keen to keep the campaign alive and give supporters optimism for next year.

Ipswich Town are the visitors to Molineux tomorrow, the first of three games in a week.

And the Wolves boss brushed aside any suggestion of motivation being an issue despite there appearing to be little to play for in terms of league position.

"There's no-one here that wants the season to peter out – in terms of results and performances we want to give our supporters optimism for the future," he said. "They're a good group to motivate.

"There are six weekends left and we want them to be good ones.

"Motivation, wanting to play for their places and take responsibility for the club going forward, and most importantly showing the supporters there's a lot to be optimistic about for Wolves and the future.

"We want the individual aim and the team aim to coincide. That has to be the case."
