James Henry and Carl Ikeme fit for Wolves

James Henry is set to give Wolves a welcome boost by returning to action this weekend, Kenny Jackett has confirmed.

And Carl Ikeme - initially a doubt for this weekend's visit of Ipswich - has recovered from the sickness bug that kept him out of Nigeria's game against Egypt on Tuesday.

Henry has been sidelined since the 2-1 defeat to Preston on February 13, initially with a hamstring strain that then led to further complications.

The winger's return is timely given Jed Wallace's four-to-six-week absence with a thigh injury picked up in Wolves' last game at Burnley before the international break.

But this weekend's clash with Mick McCarthy's Tractor Boys comes too soon for Mike Williamson, who has returned to training but won't be in first team contention for at least another week.

Jackett said of the trio: "James Henry's due to be involved. He's trained all week and looks to be okay.

"Mike Williamson is back out training but won't be fit for the weekend or MK Dons.

"Carl Ikeme was ill and had a high temperature, but they sent him home early.

"I'm pleased to say that this week he's recovered well.

"He looks okay and has trained this morning (Thursday). I'm expecting him to be okay.

"He flew back on Tuesday, has taken the week to recover, but looks and feels fine."

Welsh international David Edwards is also closing in on a return after missing the last two months with a broken foot.

He is expected to be available in the coming weeks.
