Wolves recall Jed Wallace from Millwall
Wolves have recalled midfielder Jed Wallace from a loan spell at Millwall.
The 21 year old had been with the Lions since mid-January and enjoyed a productive two months at the New Den.
Boss Kenny Jackett wants to run the rule over Wallace in Wolves' final nine matches of the season after an impressive stint with Millwall.
Wallace made 14 appearances for Neil Harris' team, scoring one goal, and recently said he was loving life with the League One club.
Jackett said: "We have watched Jed closely at Millwall, and he has enjoyed a very positive impact on the team with his performances.
"At 21 years of age, we are now keen to get him back to Wolves and for him to look to make the step-up and bridge the gap between League One and the Championship."
Wolves beat a host of clubs to secure highly-rated Wallace last summer when he moved from Portsmouth for around £250,000.
However he suffered an early setback when he picked up an injury in pre-season and struggled to work his way into Jackett's team, making just seven appearances.
Wallace will look to recreate impacts made by Jordan Graham and George Saville, who returned from loan spells at Oxford and Millwall respectively earlier this season to feature in Wolves' first team.
His Millwall loan was scheduled to expire on April 9.
