Kenny Jackett wants a home run for Wolves

Wolves face Nottingham Forest hoping for some home comforts as they bid to win their first Molineux game for two months.

Kenny Jackett's team have earned just two victories at home all season – and only five Championship teams have won fewer points at home.

Their last Molineux success came in early October against Huddersfield, since which they have lost two games and drawn the other two 0-0.

Jackett, who must decide whether to recall £15m-rated striker Benik Afobe tonight after dropping him for last weekend's victory at Rotherham, knows his team's home record must improve.

He said: "It's been a while (since we won at home). Three of the next four are at home and we want to capitalise on that.

"It's a great game and starts us off with a little run of home games which we want to turn into points. It's an opportunity we have to take.

"While the draw versus Burnley wasn't necessarily a bad one it was a good performance. But to get wins we have to earn them.

"Any win is a good thing and I'm sure (the Rotherham result) has helped, but in three draws before that we didn't feel we were far away anyway."

Wolves were booed off by their own supporters at the end of the goalless home draw with Milton Keynes Dons almost two weeks ago.

Jackett, who praised the 1,700 supporters who noisily backed the team at Rotherham, wants to get the fans singing tonight.

He said: "Our attitude, our work-rate, our body language, our quality – all those things have to be there to make sure we engage the crowd.

"We want to get them behind us, get them full of confidence and do our best to make the home advantage count for us.

"We've got to make sure very single one of us busts a gut to be successful, engage that crowd with passion, enthusiasm and, in the end, quality."
