Carl Ikeme set to miss out on Wolves finale
Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is set to miss out on Wolves' cliffhanger against Millwall on Saturday.
The first-choice keeper still hasn't returned to training following the knee injury that kept him out of last weekend's 1-0 win at Wigan.
And boss Kenny Jackett believes the long-serving shot-stopper is struggling to make the last league game of the season.
The head coach said: "Carl is not too bad but I would say he is doubtful for this weekend. I wouldn't rule him out completely but at the moment he's doubtful."
However, Jackett has complete confidence in Tomasz Kuszczak, who has kept six clean sheets in his 12 games for the club and conceded 10 goals.
Wolves have taken 21 points from those dozen games the 33-year-old former West Brom and Manchester United custodian has played.
Jackett has no qualms about the Pole, who is out of contract in the summer, continuing between the sticks.
He said: "Tomasz has done a good job for us every time he's played. We've taken 27 points out of the last 14 games and that would have coincided with a lot of his appearances.
"The goals against record has been good and the points total has been high. He's a very solid and experienced player and a positive and bubbly personality."
Meanwhile, Jackett urged his players to give it their all in one last shot at getting into this season's play-offs.
He said: "All of the players that play on Saturday will give it everything they have got."
Millwall and Wigan were relegated last night, after fourth-bottom Rotherham beat Reading 2-1 at New York Stadium.
