Goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne and defenders Tendai Matinyadze and Aaron Hayden have all put pen to paper on their first senior deals.

Burgoyne has signed a two-year deal with a further year's option in Wolves' favour and Matinyadze and Hayden have penned one-year deals with a one-year option.

Academy manager Gareth Prosser said: "First of all it is congratulations to Harry, Tendai and Aaron for securing their first professional contracts.

"It is fitting reward for the work they have put in during their time in the academy so far, both in terms of the ability they have shown on the pitch and their attitude and professionalism in their training and preparation.

"All three have worked well between the Under-18 and Under-21 groups, and enjoyed their first experience of football at the higher level.

"As ever, and as with all the other scholars turning professional next season, whilst they should be justifiably pleased and proud of their achievements, the hard work starts again very quickly.

"With those deals secured, the players should now be looking to continue to improve in search of the next stage of their development, to try and progress towards one day featuring in our first team."

Goalkeeper Burgoyne, from Ludlow, has been with Wolves since he was 12 while Matinyadze, who is of Zimbabwean descent, joined the Wolves academy at the age of 11 after moving to England as an eight-year-old and linking up with Tipton Olympic.

Hayden, who has captained the under-18 side on several occasions, joined Wolves from Chelsea after playing for the Londoners at under-16s level
