Kenny Jackett has urged Wolves cubs to follow in the footsteps of Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause and catch the eye at international level.

Iorfa and Hause are in Adey Boothroyd's 21-man squad for the England Under-20s internationals against Mexico tonight at Barnet and Sunday's visit of the United States at Plymouth.

In addition to Iorfa and Hause, Wolves academy have been represented by several players at international level in the recent past.

They include Under-21s left back Ben O'Hanlon for England Under-18s, Ross Finnie (Scotland Under-16s and Under-17s), Conor Levingstone (Ireland Under-16s and Under-17s) and Ryan Leak (Wales Under-16s).

And head coach Jackett wants Wolves to become a supply line of talent at international level.

"We'd like to get as many players as we can into that system," said Jackett.

"It's excellent for them and a really good thing for the club as well.

"If they can get further caps it will be good experience for them."

Iorfa and Hause have been vying for the full-back position recently with Matt Doherty and Scott Golbourne.

And Jackett wants that level of competition throughout the side.

"If we can get to the stage where every single position has two good players then that would be great," said the boss.

Striker Donovan Wilson scored a hat-trick as Wolves Under-21s beat Shrewsbury 4-1 at Compton yesterday. Midfielder Jim Kellerman netted the other.

Wolves Under-18s were seconds away from making it seven wins in a row as they drew 1-1 at Reading.

Niall Ennis's latest clinical finish put Wolves ahead, but the Royals levelled from a header from a corner in the closing seconds.
