Just 14,989 watched the 2-0 win over Tranmere, the lowest since September 12, 2000 when 14,853 saw a 0-0 draw against Sheffield United.

It comes a week after 4,226 watched Wolves lose 2-1 to Oldham in the FA Cup first round, one of the lowest crowd's in Molineux's history.

And 7,166 were in attendance as Wolves were knocked out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy by Notts County in October.

Previously, just 3,091 had watched the Anglo Italian Cup win over Peterborough in 1992 while a Forth Division fixture against Aldershot in 1987 attracted a crowd of just 3,357.
