Video: Wolves' Bakary Sako delights fans with Frankenstein mask

Sako celebrated the club's 2-1 success at Valley Parade by taking the green mask offered to him by lifelong Wolves fan Steve Preece, 24, from Stourport.

The security engineer said: "As Halloween is coming up, my sister and I decided to have some fun and bought masks for £2.50 from Morrisons in Kingswinford – she bought a blue Dracula one.

"We were in the front row of the stand behind the goal when all the players came over at the end of the game.

"We were hoping to be seen as the players normally come over to us and it seemed like good craic to do.

"Sako was saying 'throw me the mask' so I did and when he put it on, it was like we'd scored a goal!

"He was wearing it and he pointed at the Wolves fans – he walked off with it but tweeted me later thanking me for it.

"It completed a great win and a great weekend.

"One of my mates videoed it too so it's on YouTube."

Steve attended the game with dad Paul, 50, who works for Baggeridge Brick in Hartlebury and air hostess sister Charlotte, 21, on a minibus as part of the Stourport and Kidderminster Wolves, with Paul driving the minibus of 17 fans.

Named after Wolves' 306-goal record scorer Steve Bull, Steve is a regular fan in the South Bank while Paul and Charlotte are season ticket holders.
