Coventry's former Wolves striker Clarke – one half of League One's deadliest strike partnership with 10-goal Callum Wilson – returns to his first club looking to add to his eight-goal tally this season.

The Wolverhampton-born 28-year-old didn't enjoy the best of times at Molineux but has kept in touch with his old academy pal Ikeme, who has kept four clean sheets in a row.

Last season, former Wolves players Mark Davies, Adlene Guedioura and Andy Keogh scored against their old club at Molineux. But Ikeme is determined Clarke won't join their ranks.

"Leon's having a good season and I'm sure he'll want to score on his return to Molineux – but hopefully I'll keep him quiet," said Ikeme.

"Coventry are having a good season and if they hadn't been deducted 10 points, they'd be in the top six.

"A lot of the goals Leon and Callum Wilson have scored have helped."
