Wolves ace Bakary Sako eyes more goals

Bakary Sako today urged 'dangerous' Wolves to continue attacking as they seek their third successive win at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

The match-winning winger produced arguably his best 45 minutes since his £3m arrival from St Etienne in August in last Saturday's 1-0 win against Birmingham.

He created chances galore and almost added to his seven goals.

Wolves have played virtually a four-man attack in the last two games, with Sako joined by a striker on the opposite flank in Bjorn Sigurdarson and recognised attackers Kevin Doyle and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. And the powerful 24-year-old wants the team to carry on in the same vein as the last two matches, starting with the 4-1 success at Bristol City, as they seek their first win at Middlesbrough in over 61 years.

"We've got a very dangerous attack at the moment," said Sako. "When we link together and attack the opposition, we can be a threat as a team and we have to keep that going.

"It will be another very difficult game, but that won't stop us going there trying to play our game and trying to get some points.

"We played a very good second half against Birmingham and our performance didn't drop off like we have in other games. I think that was why we went on to win."

Sako has been a revelation since he signed – and insisted he can deal with the Championship rough stuff.

"I've found it easy to adapt," he said. "I don't mind the physical side of the game and how quick it is – that's me. I'm playing with confidence and enjoying my football."
