Christophe Berra today broke his silence on his decision to leave Wolves and admitted he wants to join a Premier League club.
The Scotland international's desire to leave the club was announced on August 3 after Wolves had asked him to extend his contract, which expires next June.
Wolves have had no interest in the former Hearts defender, who cost £2.3m in February 2009, despite rumours linking him with Southampton and Leicester.
Berra said there was no chance of reconsidering his decision, which sees him listed along with fellow Scot Steven Fletcher, Nenad Milijas and Adam Hammill, while Matt Jarvis and Dorus De Vries have told the club they want to leave.
But Berra said he would continue to give his all, despite being booed by fans every time he touched the ball after coming on as substitute in Saturday's Capital One Cup penalties win over Aldershot.
"I think everybody wants to play in the Premier League but I don't know if I've got that option or not," said Berra. "I'm still a Wolves player and I'll still give 110 per cent for them.
"As soon as you cross that white line, you concentrate on the game in hand."
Berra believes he has come to the end of the line at Molineux. He added: "I'm on the transfer list just now and that's the way it's going to be. I've got a year left on my contract and I'm not going to be extending."
Boss Stale Solbakken has been trying to sign a centre-back all summer and has missed out on Vadim Demidov and Pedro Geromel, while the wages of Manchester City's Stefan Savic look like being too expensive.
