Wolves' £18m Stan Cullis stand nears completion
It was little over a year ago when the final whistle blew on the north bank as we knew it. The diggers moved in at Molineux and the £18 million pound re-development of the new Stan Cullis Stand got underway.

Express & Star has monitored its progress over the last fifteen months from the foundations to the impressive new stand we can see today. Wolves fans will get the chance to see the completed Stan Cullis stand at an official opening on 11th August when Wolves play Aldershot in the first Capital Cup fixture.
Both tiers will be open to supporters for the first time, giving fans the opportunity to experience the new facilities including bigger concourses and stunning views of the pitch, along with other match day activities planned to mark the opening.
Inside will feature WV1, a new 500 cover facility divided into a stylish gastro bar and restaurant in a traditional loft style setting. On entry boasts a large main reception and the second floor which is totally glass fronted, offers panoramic views of the north of the City.
Wolves will not be reserving season ticket holders seats for this game as sales will be restricted to the Stan Cullis stand and Billy Wright stand. Supporters are advised to buy tickets in advance.
