Jamie O'Hara today set Wolves a target of four more wins and a point-a-game tally to achieve Premier League survival.

The former Tottenham midfielder believes a minimum total of another 14 more points from the remaining 14 games will be enough to secure a fourth consecutive top-flight campaign for Mick McCarthy's men.

O'Hara played the same number of games for Wolves last season - 14 – on loan, and inspired them to five wins and two draws as they stayed up by a point on Survival Sunday.

And the £5m summer signing believes a slightly lesser haul will be enough to escape this time.

"I think we need another four wins and hopefully we'll get a couple of draws as well," said O'Hara.

"I'm looking to have that same sort of impact again so hopefully I can do the same as I did last year and help us stay up."

Wolves took just four points from eight games during O'Hara's absence before he returned with a man of the match performance in Saturday's welcome 2-1 win at QPR.

And the 25-year-old insists he is ready to help the team again after returning refreshed from his enforced break – with some goals.

"Being out of the side for a couple of months means I feel fresh and really hungry to get back," he said.

"I love scoring goals and if I'm playing in that role off the front man then I need to get on the scoresheet.

"If I can grab a few goals then that's definitely something I want to do."

And after his Goal of the Season strike that stunned The Hawthorns last season, O'Hara is relishing a return to the derby stage.

"I love the big games and big derbies – I've always relished those sort of opportunities to play the rivals and the televised games because it's what you dream of as a kid," he added.

"It's a huge game against West Brom – we both need the points and it's going to be a fantastic game."

O'Hara also insisted Wolves have enough quality to avoid the drop without Emmanuel Frimpong.

"Manny was great and it was a big disappointment to lose him," he said.

"But we've got a fantastic squad and we shouldn't be where we are.

"We need to change it around. But I still think we can make this season a good one."
