Kevin Doyle today started the derby countdown, insisting Wolves have been reborn after their heroics at QPR.
The striker's winner in Saturday's 2-1 victory at Loftus Road was his first goal since October ahead of Sunday's visit of Albion.
Doyle replaced Richard Stearman at the break to set up Matt Jarvis, just 52 seconds after coming on, before completing the turnaround to end his three-month goal drought.
And the Ireland international admitted the win, which moved Wolves out of the Premier League's bottom three, is the perfect platform to down Albion at Molineux.
"It's been very tough for us and we've been getting some stick but this win gives us a bit of confidence going into a big derby game at the weekend," said the three-goal striker, who hadn't scored since the 2-2 draw with Swansea.
"It's been a while since we did, so the three points were vital for us. QPR are down there with us – they have made some signings and we've had some bad results recently.
To win the game after going 1-0 down is a big result for us particularly after we'd not started too well.
"The gaffer just told me he wanted me to come on down the right and tuck in and help push forwards as much as possible.
"We all upped our game in the second half and looked very sharp.
"We were very positive and managed to get ahead."
