Mick McCarthy's side have trailed by 2-0 in each of those games – three of them by half-time – but the Frenchman believes the hard graft on the training ground will cut out the mistakes.
"We're working on trying to stop the goals against because we're conceding too many," said Zubar. "We can't keep coming back from being 2-0 down and chasing games.
"It's about teamwork and our defensive shape and we need to ensure there aren't any gaps between us, which is what's happened in the last couple of games.
"We've all had a chat about it and practiced it so we're ready to do it in games. We've got to be more solid defensively and in our team play because we can't just blame the defence."
