Wolves manager Mick McCarthy today urged his side to snap out of their losing run.
McCarthy's men head into the Black Country derby at West Brom in 10 days' time aiming to bounce back after four successive Premier League defeats.
And the Wolves boss said: "The players are hurting and it just knocks the guts out of you, but it doesn't have a bearing on every game you play afterwards.
"I gave a bad backpass against Dundee United in 1988 and it still annoys me. But I didn't play badly from 1988, I ended up having another 200 good games.
"The best place to stop this run is a week on Sunday."
