Wolves reserve striker James Spray has joined League Two club Accrington Stanley on a month's loan.

The 18-year-old Brummie from the Wolves academy could make his Stanley debut in tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Tranmere.

Spray, whose contract expires next summer, made his senior debut for Wolves in their 5-0 Carling Cup win over Millwall on September 20 as a late substitute and a had goal chalked off when his strike went in off Sam Vokes.

Stanley boss John Coleman said: "It's a chance for him now to play some first-team football and hopefully he'll grab that chance. He's a keen lad and we'll have to wait and see what he can do for us now.

"We've got options all over the park now and it's up to the players who get the shirts to keep them."

Spray becomes the ninth Wolves player to be loaned out this season.
