Wolves are set to be unchanged for an unprecedented fourth Premier League in a row if Matt Jarvis is fit for Saturday's clash against Tottenham.

Manager Mick McCarthy has been delighted with his side's unbeaten start of seven points from three league games.

Wolves are waiting on winger Jarvis' ankle problem but apart from that, McCarthy isn't planning any alterations to his line-up. Asked if it would be hard to make any changes for the weekend, McCarthy said: "Of course it would be.

"I have to say, all the team that's played so far have been exceptional. I'm not looking for any excuses to put anyone else in the team. Why would I? They have started really well."

If Jarvis is out, McCarthy could go like for like and bring in either former Spurs schoolboy Michael Kightly or Adam Hammill, or introduce Kevin Foley like he did in the latter stages of the 0-0 draw at Villa.

And McCarthy stressed anyone coming in has the chance to establish themselves and will be backed by the rest of the squad.

"When any player gets in the team, it's their shirt to lose," said the boss.
