Disabled Wolves fans with season tickets in the Stan Cullis Stand could now be back for the sixth home game of the campaign.

The club has been in talks with contractors Buckingham Group to try and thrash out a solution to cater for the 33 affected supporters, who feared they would miss most of the season due to the ongoing Molineux redevelopment.

They now hope provision could be in place for the November 6 game against Wigan.

Letters were being delivered today advising fans of the breakthrough and inviting them to a meeting at Molineux on August 16.

Wolves have been in talks about arrangements for disabled fans while the £16million rebuild of the stadium's North Bank takes place/ It emerged last month they could be excluded for the entire Premier League season.

But Buckingham have agreed to bring forward works to complete disabled access routes meaning supporters will instead miss only a handful of games.

The plans will have to be approved by safety chiefs.

Wolves spokesman Matt Grayson said today: "It is expected that wheelchair users who are season ticket holders will be able to come back into the Stan Cullis Stand for the Wigan game, which has been rescheduled for Sunday November 6.

"That is subject to safety advisory approval and construction continuing to go to plan."
