Wolves' new boy Leigh Griffiths today set his sights on emulating Albion playmaker Graham Dorrans in making the switch from Scotland to the Premier League - and 'beefing up'.

The 20-year-old striker has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract and completes his £150,000 move from Dundee today.

A two-match ban for bookings from his time at Dens Park prevents Griffiths from playing until the Manchester United game a week on Saturday.

One-time Baggies trialist Griffiths played at Livingston with Dorrans, who moved to The Hawthorns for a similar fee in July 2008. "A few boys I played with at Livingston have done well in the Premier League such as Graham Dorrans," said Griffiths. "Hopefully I can emulate him. I played with Graham a few times at Livingston.

"I came into the first team at 16 and Graham was already in the team but I broke through and played with him a few times.

"He then got his move to West Brom and has been absolutely magnificent, so if I can emulate anything like that I'll be delighted."

Slightly-built Griffiths knows he has a lot to do to make the grade. Wolves have put the striker on a programme to build him up and he said: "I've got to bulk myself up and work hard on the training field."
