Kevin Foley today insisted it's vital Wolves keep their nerve as they prepare to face Arsenal.
Wolves were left devastated after Ji-Sung Park's dramatic winner at Old Trafford on Saturday.
But, as they prepare to climax their daunting spell of games against the top four by hosting the Gunners on Wednesday, Foley believes it's crucial they retain their belief.
He said: "It's important how we react to it now. It was a devastating result but there are positives to take from the performance.
"We've got to carry that into the Arsenal game - another big team - and you never know what can happen.
"We've just got to recover and get ready for Wednesday's game. Arsenal are another big team but we beat Manchester City and went close again at United.
"We did ourselves proud and I'm sure we'll do the same again on Wednesday."
Foley's conviction is based on another impressive performance from Wolves against one of the big teams after last week's home win against Manchester City.
He said: "We were just so close but it was the same sort of story as the cup game. It certainly wasn't for the wont of trying and all the lads are devastated.
"Park put one in just inside the near post and it made us sick because we had put in such a tremendous effort.
"There's no worse time to concede than almost right on the whistle. Similarly we had conceded at the end of the first-half, but we stuck in there and deservedly got level.
"Sylvan came on and did what he does best with a goal to get us back into it.
"And we defended quite well, limiting them getting into our box. We had chances as well, catching them on the break.
"We didn't want to sit back because that invites pressure so we were always trying to get on the front foot and break.
"We just couldn't get a second goal."
