The 21-year-old versatile attacker, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, only joined Randers from Danish First Division side Boldklubben back in February.
The forward, who has netted twice and registered four assists this season, has been subject of interest earlier in the transfer window, with the Danish Superliga side turning down a bid from Union-Saint Gilloise in Belgium.
He has also reportedly been attracting interest from Scottish side Celtic and French outfit Nantes.
Albion are reportedly close to signing the forward for a fee in the region of £3.3m.
According to reports in Denmark, the forward is undergoing a medical ahead of a move to The Hawthorns.
The news has emerged shortly after it was revealed by the Express & Star that Alex Palmer is set to leave the club in a £5m move to Premier League Ipswich Town.
