The first post Corberan observations

The interesting point early on in this first outing without the departed manager was going to be how Albion set up.

Personnel wise it was one change, but you could see that early on Albion were going to try and commit more men forward, and play a more open style if they could.

But the openness was more evident by what happened at the other end.

A team carved out by Corberan for its defensive principles and being so hard to beat, looked like they were behind cut through at every single opportunity.

There were a number of early warnings, as Alex Palmer had to make a save and they threw blocks in there on a few occasions.

When the opening goal came, it was maybe not a calamity of mistakes but it was error strewn. People losing men, standing and allowing Derby to get in and have space.
