West Brom player watch: It was always there but Grady Diangana is back!
When Grady Diangana flew down the wing at an empty Goodison Park and fired in a sensational goal - it looked like it was going to be money well spent.
Months after Albion had turned his loan move into a permanent switch for £12m, rising to £18m, it looked like he could turn out to be a snip at that price.
Less than three years later, the feeling from the stands and probably from many within the inner sanctum of The Hawthorns was a lot different.
Prior to his recent resurgence, Diangana had scored just six times in 87 appearances since that goal against Everton.
What followed has been a string of difficult runs of form, injuries and periods out of the side.
Back in the summer, given his age and the fact that his ability to glide across pitches and change games in an instant, he was still said to be one of the club's biggest financial playing assets.
