West Brom predictions: What will the points haul be in big five game run?

Albion finally resume action this weekend, with five key games on the horizon before yet another international break next month.

Carlos Corberan and his side will target a useful points return from the 15 available to take into the break in the middle of next month – which is the final pause in league action until well into the new year.

Albion have three home fixtures at The Hawthorns to sink their teeth into, including a Saturday-Tuesday double-header over the next week.

Here are the Baggies’ opposition over the next month and what kind of points return they might realistically expect.

Plymouth Argyle (h) – Saturday, October 21

Albion saw off one of last season’s League One promotion winners Sheffield Wednesday in their last home game, albeit it wasn’t totally smooth-sailing.

Plymouth will be no pushover.

The Pilgrims are 18th and have faltered after a decent start back in the second tier, for the first time since 2009/10.

All three of Argyle’s league wins under Steven Schumacher have come at home, where Plymouth are strong. They have mustered just two points on the road.
