The Baggies have stuttered to two 2-1 defeats on the road in Championship and EFL Cup action but look to get their campaign up and running with a home opener against Swansea at The Hawthorns tomorrow.

Albion will be backed by a boom in season ticket sales, as the club this week passed 18,000 – the highest figure since the 2008/09 Premier League season and more than 1,000 up on this stage last season.

Spaniard Corberan hopes his side can learn from early-season struggles from both Blackburn and Stoke. It remains to be seen whether the head coach opts to tweak his starting line-up from that at Ewood Park, where central defender Cedric Kipre slipped to a decisive error and Nathaniel Chalobah was handed a shock start in midfield.

“I think in both games we have been watching similar things from the positive and negative perspective,” was Corberan’s assessment of his side’s first two games.
