Quality, class and 'that' Sheffield Wednesday goal: Harvey Barnes at West Brom
West Brom fans who watched a young Harvey Barnes destroy Championship defences back in 2018 won't be surprised to see Newcastle United pay big money for the winger.
Barnes, 25, ended his 16 year association with Leicester City to complete a £38m move to St James' Park as the Magpies continue to build for the Champions League.
Many football fans will associate Barnes with his performances for the Foxes, starring in the Europa League and Conference League and putting in top level displays in the Premier League.
However, Barnes earned his stripes way before he became a known name with the Foxes.
Son of former player Paul Barnes, the winger was 20 when he rocked up at The Hawthorns in 2018 as Darren Moore looked to re-build the Baggies following their relegation from the top flight.
He'd already spent time at MK Dons and Barnsley and had impressed on both occasions. Now he was being charged with helping to lead Albion back to the top flight, and be the main supply line for the potent front line of Dwight Gayle and Jay Rodriguez.
