A number of them have been given run outs in the four pre-season friendlies, some more than others, such as Caleb Taylor, Jovan Malcolm and Ethan Ingram.

Another youngster, and one who poses an interesting question with regards to his role next season, is Tom Fellows.

The 19-year-old, who spent last season with Crawley Town, has appeared in the two behind closed doors friendly wins, and started the second pre-season outing of the week at Salford City.

In a first half at the Peninsula Stadium, that could only be described as a 'classic pre-season encounter', Fellows provided a spark out on the right for Albion.

He was involved in the best two attacking moves of the half, driving down the right before firing in a dangerous low cross for Malcolm.
