West Brom keen on Callum Robinson loan

Sheffield United forward Callum Robinson is a loan target for Albion this month, the Express & Star understands.

Robinson joined the Blades from Preston North End in the summer and has played 19 times this season in all competitions.

But Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is eager to get some players off the wage bill as he too looks to strengthen his ranks before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Robinson has found himself behind the likes of Lys Mousset, David McGoldrick, Oli McBurnie and Billy Sharp at Bramall Lane.

The 24-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Villa, was a target for the Baggies in the summer.

But the lure of playing in the Premier League proved to be too strong for the forward who went on to sign a four-year-deal with the Blades.

Now, though, Albion are re-visiting a move for the Republic of Ireland international with head coach Slaven Bilic keen to bolster his forward options this week.
