Former midfielder Jonathan Greening was presented with his first team cap, numbered 766, on the pitch at half-time in the 2-0 loss to Middlesborough at The Hawthorns.

Greening signed for the Baggies from Boro in the summer of 2004 and in the following five years he led the club to promotion, captained Albion to an FA Cup semi-final, won the player-of-the-season award from the supporters and made the PFA’s team of the year for the Championship.

Albion’s Former Player Association president Brendon Batson presented Greening with the cap.
