Jonathan Leko back and set for scan on injury
Jonathan Leko has returned to Albion for treatment after suffering a knee injury while playing for Charlton on Saturday.
The winger suffered the injury early in the Addicks’ 2-2 draw at QPR and later left Loftus Road in a knee brace.
Leko, who joined the Championship club on a season-long loan in the summer, is due to undergo a scan in the coming days to determine the extent of the damage.
“The physio has just said to me that it’s a knee injury and it doesn’t look good,” said Charlton boss Lee Bowyer.
“He’ll go back home now. He’ll have a scan and in two or three days, with Christmas coming, we’ll know. It doesn’t look like it’s a very good injury. Another knee one. Unfortunately, we can’t control that.”
Leko has scored five goals in 21 appearances for the Addicks this term.
