West Brom v Cardiff: Can Albion stand up to physical Bluebirds? - VIDEO
Watch Joe Masi and Luke Hatfield preview tomorrow's game as Slaven Bilic expects another physical challenge when Albion host Cardiff.
The Baggies welcome Neil Warnock's side to The Hawthorns looking to get back to winning ways following the loss at Leeds on Tuesday.
Both Leeds and Cardiff have two very different playing styles with Marcelo Bielsa's side eager to play at a high tempo and on the counter-attack.
The Bluebirds, meanwhile, are physical in a more traditional sense with Warnock's side direct and a threat from set-plays.
And they enter tomorrow's game in good form with Wednesday's win against QPR - which was achieved with just 28 per cent possession - ensuring they are unbeaten in their last seven league outings.
"Leeds and Cardiff are two extreme, different philosophies, but they also have their similarities," Bilic said.
"Both teams are very physical, both teams are physical in a different way.
"Leeds go on pace, and in the transition, they exhaust you.
"Cardiff on the other hand are doing the same, physical football with their way of playing and defending.
"It's an extremely difficult game.
"They are now - after a not so great start - having some really good results in the last seven games and their last result is enough warning for us and for everybody.
"People are talking about ball percentage, this this and that, but that is all cosmetic.
"What matters is that they beat them [QPR] 3-0, they had more shots and Cardiff’s keeper wasn’t their best player.
"They are a good team. very effective football, dislike it or whatever, but very effective and extremely difficult to play against."
