Goals from Nathan Ferguson and Matheus Pereira at Loftus Road mean the Baggies have now avoided defeat in their opening nine Championship matches - equalling a club record.

And their performance in London was arguably the best of the Bilic reign so far, with outstanding performances all over the park.

"Right from the start, we were on the front foot," Bilic said.

"They didn’t have a sniff to be fair. Apart from in the last seconds of the first-half.

"We were a bit nervous. We were getting in great situations in the first-half but we were rushing it.

"I told the guys, not every ball has to go forward. It can go inside to go forward but we were rushing things.

"We were pressing but in most of these games, you need a moment when you produce some brilliance or there is a mistake.

"We had that with Nathan’s goal. After that, there was a long time to go but we were pure class.

"When we scored the second one we managed the game really professionally.

"All the starting XI, plus the guys that came off the bench, they all did exactly what we asked of them."

Bilic continued: "I am really, really pleased.

"Of course we can improve in every department still and it is only 90 minutes.

"But I have to say the lads were excellent today. They won deservedly.

"QPR were second best and that is not because they were bad, it was because we were very, very good."
