Both Diangana and QPR’s Eberechi Eze have been called up by Aidy Boothroyd, following injuries to Dwight McNeill and Joe Willock.

The 21-year-old has scored three goals in four Championship appearances for the Baggies since joining on loan from West Ham last month.

He will now travel with the under-21s to Istanbul for this Friday’s European under-21 Championship qualifier against Turkey.

The Young Lions then return to the UK and host Kosovo at Hull City’s KCOM Stadium next Monday, September 9.

It's the first time Diangana has been selected to represent England at Under-21 level after previously turning out for the Under-20s.
