Spot yourself in this West Brom fans beer garden gallery?
This gallery of Albion supporters will welcome football fans to this well-known matchday West Bromwich pub.
An artist who supports Manchester United has spent a year dedicating his time and efforts to a project celebrating and honouring West Bromwich Albion fans.
Stephen Burke is now proudly showing off his final masterpiece, titled The Lord’s My Shepherd, at The Vine pub until June 29.
The project celebrates Baggies fans and explores the role the club plays in West Bromwich and the wider Black Country. It features a series of portrait shots of fans from all over the world, including groups such as Polish Baggies and WBALGBT.
The artist has also interviewed fans about the club, to be played alongside the work.
Full time photographer and artist Stephen, aged 29, said he had already had some ‘great feedback’ from fans.
Stephen, who lives in Birmingham, said: “The fans seem to really enjoy it so far – and some have reacted quite emotionally to the interviews too. It’s all about celebrating the fans of the club, and finding out why they travel up and down the country to be a supporter.
"As well as the pictures, I did interviews with the fans too and play those as part of the artwork. And I have recordings of the match, the crowd singing too.
“It’s all about how it feels to be part of the club.”
The project was commissioned by Multistory as part of Blast! Photography Festival, which runs all across Sandwell until June 29.
Stephen, who is actually a Manchester United fan in his spare time, will be hosting an exhibition launch this Sunday from 3pm to 5pm at the Vine in Roebuck Street. Everyone is welcome.
