Albion were beaten 2-0 by Ipswich...

In the previous three meetings before this game, West Brom had netted 11 goals against the Tractor Boys and were top of the Championship at the time.

However, Ipswich maintained their healthy record at Portman Road in the league and swept aside the Baggies with two late goals in the final 15 minutes. Jason De Vos and David Wright were the scorers for the home side.

This proved to be one of West Brom's toughest tests in the season where they topped the Championship.

Ipswich meanwhile, missed out on the play-off places by a single point.
