West Brom extend Tyrone Mears' contract by a month
Albion have extended Tyrone Mears' contract by a month until the end of January.
Mears was signed in August on a short-term deal that expired at the beginning of 2019.
But the 35-year-old right-back has been given an extra month in order to provide cover.
Albion have signed Everton defender Mason Holgate on loan, but he is ineligible to play at Blackburn Rovers tomorrow.
Mears is expected to be named in the squad for that game, and Saturday's FA Cup clash with Wigan Athletic.
Manchester City could also recall defender Tosin Adarabioyo from his season-long loan in January.
Mears has made nine appearances for Albion this season.
