West Brom are closing in on a loan deal for Everton defender Mason Holgate, the Express & Star understands.
The Baggies are keen on bolstering their defensive line in January and have targeted the England Under-21 international, who can play at centre-back or right-back
Holgate has played five times in the Premier League this season, but not featured since Everton's 3-1 defeat to West Ham on September 16.
The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Barnsley before moving to Everton in 2015, making 48 appearances for the Toffees.
