West Brom seal Harvey Barnes loan deal
West Brom have secured the services of England U-20's midfielder Harvey Barnes from Leicester City on a season-long loan.
Barnes completed the move after signing a new four-year-deal at the King Power Stadium.
The 20-year-old will to feature for the Baggies in tonight's pre-season friendly at Barnsley.
“I’m a positive player and I love scoring and making goals. I try to be as creative as I can be out on the pitch," said Barnes.
The talented youngster will become Darren Moore’s fourth capture of the transfer window and follows James McClean’s departure to Stoke on Sunday.
“He is an exciting young player - one that I think our supporters will enjoy watching,” said head coach Moore.
“We’ve got a lot of exciting youngsters at this club and Harvey now adds to that group.
“He’s got good experience of the Championship already and I am thrilled at the prospect of him adding his talents. I couldn’t be happier that we have been able to bring him in.”
A product of Leicester’s academy, he has experience of the Championship having scored five goals during a loan spell at Barnsley last season.
