Sam Field, Jonathan Leko, Kane Wilson, Jack Fitzwater and 17-year-old Rayhaan Tulloch are among those working hard under the watchful eye of Darren Moore.

Brunt, 33, is in his 10th pre-season with the Baggies and feels the youngsters have the ability to be heavily involved in the upcoming season in the Championship.

"The young lads aren't shy, they just crack on, a lot of them have trained with us during the season so we know most of them," he said.

"It's a good chance for them to show what they can do, among the senior lads as well.

"It gives you a bit more time to get to know them as people as well. That will be good.

"We're going to need everybody involved at the football club this year if we're going to do well because, with the extra games they come thick and fast, and I'm sure a lot of the younger lads will be involved heavily this year.

"It's up to them to make sure that's the case."
