West Ham eye up Salomon Rondon's £16.5m release clause - reports
West Ham are reportedly eyeing up the £16.5million relegation release clause that will let them sign Albion striker Salomon Rondon.
The Hammers have appointed Manuel Pellegrini as their manager this week on a £10m-a-year contract.
The 64-year-old worked with Rondon at Malaga, and the Venezuelan scored 27 goals in 72 appearances for the Spanish side.
Rondon has one year left on his Albion contract, but was a first-team regular for the Baggies last season and scored 10 goals in 40 appearances.
Nacer Chadli also has a £17m relegation release clause in his contract and Jonny Evans has a similar clause worth £3m.
