The 28-year-old has not been named in Gareth Southgate's 23-man squad for the tournament but he is on the five-man standby list.

Both Livermore and James Tarkowski, who is also on standby, have been training with England this week.

Youngsters Mason Mount, 19, Nathaniel Chalobah, 23, and Angus Gunn, 22, are also providing extra bodies in training.

Southgate has previously stated that Livermore's commitment to England has played a huge part in his continued use in the squad.
