West Brom midfielder Nacer Chadli included in Belgium's preliminary World Cup squad
West Brom's Nacer Chadli has been included in Belgium's preliminary World Cup squad.
The attacking midfielder has rarely featured for Albion during their disastrous relegation season, with injury limiting him to just six appearances in all competitions for the club.
In spite of this, Roberto Martinez has included him in his preliminary squad consisting of 28 players.
The former Wigan and Everton boss will trim his side to 23 players in the first week of June.
Former Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has also been included alongside Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
Other notable names also in the squad include Toby Alderweireld, Thibaut Courtois, Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Vincent Kompany, Simon Mignolet and Jan Vertonghen.
There is no room for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who is the biggest omission from the side who will do battle with England in the group stages.
Meanwhile, Hal Robson-Kanu has not been included in Wales' squad for their upcoming friendly with Mexico, taking place at the end of the month.
